OK so here I am staring over the edge of the abyss (I’m nearly 40 years old…yikes!). And to actually see into the depths below I have to lean over far enough so I can see over my fat gut. Not pleasant. I’ve never been as heavy as I am now. I’m 5’-11” tall and weigh right around 200 lbs. and I’m over 30% body fat. Unfortunately, the Tanita scale don’t lie (see below)!![]()
With 2 kids under 6 years old and a full-time job, there doesn’t seem to be enough time to join a gym or go crazy with a detailed workout regimen.
So, I decided to invest in a chinup bar (which also came with resistance bands) and I’ve been making progress. I actually use a chair to “spot” myself using the chinup bar, because it’s asking a lot for these arms to lift 200+ pounds!!!![]()
I’m starting to get more serious and I’m ready to start following a structured program. I don’t think I can eat the same way or “wing it” with my workout and expect to get results. I did some Internet research…
I found a number of weight loss programs that are downloadable. Many promise you the world, but only a few are worth digging into.
